When considering board sports it’s easy to reel off different variants and iterations on multiple and varied terrains. The development of board sports is founded in the desire of pioneers to diversify, constantly looking for new extremes. Its routes are inspired by skiing, surfing and skateboarding. Even if we just look at winter iterations of board sports like snowboarding, these have evolved with multiple styles including free ride, freestyle, big air and half pipe to name but a few. However let’s not forget our cousins on the water whose board development has led to off shoots such as kneeboarding, bodyboarding and wakeboarding. Those pioneers would be proud to see:

• Average age of boarders is between 18-24
